DEPARTMENT OF ENGLISH

The department of English was established in 1997 and it is now a premier centre for English education. it makes its humble beginning just as a compulsory subject with the inception of college. the compulsory English, communicative English and generic elective were the various paper taught until 2018 where the department takes a new shape with the introduction of English hons course with the 32 seats.

the department of English strive to accomplish the aim and mission of Basudev Godavari degree college, Kesaibahal to provide quality higher education with employability skills.english should not be not be barrier for achieving the goals of students. it is also a centre for co curricular extra cucuricular and extension activities ,apart from textual studies the dept aims at all round development of students by nurturing their hidden talents.

VISSION

enhancing the communicative skills enriching the students with the spoken and writer skills encouraging the students to be employable greeting high dignity of human recourse for the nation building and enability research aptitude nurturing the aptitude of creative writing.

the prime duty of the dept isto complete the course according to the time of university before the semistar exam .the dept complete the courses, student s of the dept regularly take part in quize,literacy competition arts and sports events. the dept organize seminars from time to time. students presents their papers which enable them the equip with presentation skills,carrerer councelling,and personality development.
