DEPARTMENT OF CHEMISTRY

The Department of Chemistry is established to undertake teaching undergraduate level where strong foundations are laid to facilitate the design and development of new materials and processed to meet future technological challenges. Knowledge and skills in chemistry play a crucial role in finding the solutions to most of the challenges (e.g. energy, disease and environment) faced by the mankind today. Chemistry graduates are also in demand by some of the most successful industries, agricultural aspects, pharmaceuticals in India. The department of Chemistry was established on the year 1997 but the Honours in chemistry are provided from 2016. The faculty of the department is very much dedicated to the all round development of students along with quality teaching.

The chemistry department pledges itself to encourage in the broadest and most liberal manner the advancement of science and particularly chemistry in all of its branches through its education.

Three year degree course( apart from hons subject, offering elective and skill enhancement course)

Students

32 students in each semester .a sum total of 96 sets available in three year.

Well furnished lab with sufficient class work materials, apparatus and chemicals.
